Trout Plants

The following waters are scheduled to be planted with rainbow trout from Department of Fish and Wildlife hatcheries this week (April 16-22):

SANTA BARBARA: Cachuma Lake.
VENTURA: Casitas Lake, Rancho Simi Park Lake, Reyes Creek.
LOS ANGELES: Alondra Park Lake, Belvedere Lake, Cerritos Lake, Downey Wilderness Park Lake, Echo Park lake, El Dorado Park Lakes, Hollenbeck Park Lake, Kenneth Hahn Lake, La Mirada Lake, Lincoln Park Lake, MacArthur Park Lake, Pyramid Lake.
ORANGE: Trabuco Creek.
RIVERSIDE: Perris Lake, Rancho Jurupa Park Pond.
SAN BERNARDINO: Arrowbear Lake, Cucamonga-Guasti Park Lake, Glen Helen Park Lake, Green Valley Lake, Gregory Lake, Miller Canyon Creek (at Silverwood Lake), Silverwood Lake.
SAN DIEGO: Lake Murray.
INYO: Cottonwood Creek, Georges Creek, Independence Creek, Owens River (section 2), Pleasant Valley Reservoir, Shepherd Creek, Symmes Creek, Tuttle Creek.

The following waters are tentatively scheduled to be planted next week (April 23-29):

VENTURA: Casitas Lake.
SAN BERNARDINO: Arrowbear Lake, Green Valley Lake, Gregory Lake, Jenks Lake, Mojave Narrows Park Lake, Silverwood Lake.
INYO: Bishop Creek, lower (not open to fishing until April 29), Diaz Lake, Lone Pine Creek, Owens River (below Tinnemaha).
MONO: Bridgeport Reservoir, Buckeye Creek, Convict Creek, Convict Lake, Grant Lake, Gull Lake, June Lake, Lee Vining Creek, Little Walker Lake, Mammoth Creek, McGee Creek, Mill Creek, Robinson Creek, Rock Creek (sections 1 and 2), Rush Creek, Silver Lake, Twin Lakes (Upper and Lower lakes near Bridgeport), Virginia Creek, West Walker River (section 3). None of these wasters are open to fishing until April 29.
KERN: Kern River (sections 1-5).
TULARE: Bone Creek, Kern River (section 5-6), Nobe Young Creek, Peppermint Creek (upper), Tule River Middle Fork, Tule River North Fork (Middle Fork No. 1), Tule River South Fork (Middle Fork No. 2), Tule River South Fork (Middle Fork No. 3). Except for the Kern River, none of these waters are open to fishing until April 29.

The following waters were planted last week (April 9-15):

VENTURA: Casitas Lake.
LOS ANGELES: Hansen Dam Lake, Legg Lakes, Santa Fe Reservoir.
RIVERSIDE: Hemet Lake, Lake Fulmor, Rancho Jurupa Park Pond, Skinner Lake, Strawberry Creek.
SAN BERNARDINO: Glen Helen Park Lake, Gregory Lake, Jenks Lake, Mojave Narrows Park Lake.
SAN DIEGO: Chollas Park Lake, Cuyamaca Lake, Lindo lake, Morena Reservoir.
INYO: Lower Bishop Creek (not open to fishing until April 29), Diaz Lake, Lone Pine Creek, Owens River (below Tinnemaha).
MONO: Crowley Lake (not open to fishing until April 29).
