TOP NEWS: Plants continue to be reduced, but there is a light slate of plants for major waters in Inyo and Mono counties for this week (see trout plants). None currently slated for next week. The top action: Crowley Lake has continued to produce a lot of rainbows and cutthroats from 16 to 24-inches for fly anglers fishing midges and tiny perch fry imitations. It probably has the best fishing in the region right now. Other good bets include both Upper and Lower Twin Lake near Bridgeport, Virginia Lakes, Convict Lake, and Sabrina.
Top Fish: At Convict Lake, Jonathan Martinez, Riverside, had a 5-2 rainbow off the south shore on a pimpkin mini jig.
