TOP NEWS: The lower Owens River below Pleasant Valley Reservoir has been flowing from 220 to 247 cfs this past week. The East Walker flows have been ramping up over the last week with the flows mid-day Wednesday at 850 cfs, up from 390 cfs a week ago. The West Walker flows have dropped down to 275 cfs this week from a peak of around 1,400 cfs last Thursday. Still light fishing pressure throughout the region, but there are still a lot of big rainbows up out of Crowley in the Hot Fingers stretch of the Owens River. A few 16 to 22 inch fish are being landed in a fairly tough bite. The East and West Walker rivers have been slow due to high flows. Hot Creek is getting no pressure.
