Fish Report-Freshwater, Nov. 11

TOP NEWS: Fishing pressure remains very light with few anglers fishing. For bait and lure anglers, the top bets in the region have been the Twin Lakes at Bridgeport, Bridgeport Reservoir, and Convict Lake continues to produce some nice quality fish but just fair numbers overall. Bishop Creek and Rock Creek are pretty fair for skilled stream anglers who are getting browns and holdover rainbows. Fly anglers are seeing a slow to fair bite in the low flows of the East Walker below Bridgeport Reservoir with most fish 12 to 16 inches but a few bigger. Crowley Lake is fair to good one day and tough the next. There are browns, rainbows, and cutthroats showing in this bite with a lot of fish to 20 inches or better.

TOP FISH OF THE WEEK: At Convict Lake, Frank Heilman, Frazier Park, landed a 7-11 rainbow on a Roostertail at the inlet. Corby Brown, Fontana, also had a 7-11 off the south shore on salmon peach PowerBait.
