Dan Fultz caught the first White Seabass for the Balboa Angling Club using 50# line on Jan. 10. The beast weighed in at 66.20 pounds and a second fish weighed in at an even 60 pounds.
Fultz was presented with the White Seabass flag at the time he weighed in his fish. This is the fourth time he’s been awarded the first flag of the year and the second time for him to be the first to break a club record, set in 2012 by Bill Seiler.
Established in 1926, the Balboa Angling Club’s membership is composed of generations of anglers. For more information, visit balboaanglingclub.org.
