The rockfish season reopens Friday, March 1, and conditions are excellent all along the coast for these great game fish. Anglers are again restricted to 50 fathoms (300 feet) or shallower, but there have been some good regulation changes. First, the daily limit of bocaccio has been upped to three fish; and second, red rockfish can now be fished within the Cow Cod Conservancy Area in less than 120 feet of water.
