STATEWIDE — Lobster divers and hoop netters who possess a report card for the 2017-18 spiny lobster season must report their harvest or effort to state officials by April 30. Report cards must be issued whether or not any lobsters were caught during the season.
Failure to report on the season’s harvest or efforts will result in a lobster diver or hoop netter being assessed a $21.60 fee the next time they purchase a report card.
Reports can be filed online at wildlife.ca.gov/Licensing or by mail.
The mailing address to send physical report cards is California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Lobster Report Card, 3883 Ruffin Rd., San Diego, CA 92123.
