At Nacimiento, the spotted bass action has stayed fair to good on plastics, small swimbaits, and jigging spoons with a lot of two to three-pound fish. Also a pretty fair bite on white bass staging to run up into the river to spawn, with most 1 to 2 pounds. At Santa Margarita, the water level came up 6 feet with this last storm and is three feet from spilling. The bass action has been tougher with so much new cover opened up and the fish are starting to move shallow for the spawn. Best action on nightcrawlers and plastics, and some on reaction baits. Panfish slowed down. Lopez Lake has a fair crappie and bluegill bite. The storm slowed it quite a bit, but it is picking up again. Also decent bass action with the fish starting to move into the shallows. No reports from San Antonio.
