There continues to be an excellent rockfish bite in this region — but the buzz is about the white seabass and barracuda action that has been dazzling this past week, and it just keeps getting better as the winds that have made conditions dismal die down. On June 27, Island Tak out of Cisco Landing was out with 10 anglers, and they landed 100 calico bass and 30 white seabass — full limits of both — along with a yellowtail. Sea Jay also was out with 10 anglers, and they had 25 seabass. On June 25, Cobra had nine anglers who caught 22 seabass, 18 barracuda and one yellowtail — and on June 27, there were 12 anglers who caught 51 barracuda and five seabass.
