TOP NEWS: Plants have all but ended for the season with no waters in Inyo and Mono counties on the list for this week (see trout plants). None currently slated for next week, either. The top action: Crowley Lake has continued to produce a lot of rainbows and cutthroats from 16 to 24-inches for fly anglers fishing midges and tiny perch fry imitations. It probably has the best fishing in the region right now. Other good bets include both Upper and Lower Twin Lake near Bridgeport, Virginia Lakes, Convict Lake, and Sabrina.
Top Fish: At Convict Lake, Scott Martin from Barstow and Rachel Von Fleck from Temecula, had 10 trout totaling 23 pounds taken from shore on jigs.
