The long-range boats out of San Diego continue to have an excellent season. Intrepid is on a fly-down long-range trip off Panama with exceptional inshore and offshore fishing for snapper, roosterfish, pargo, dorado, tuna and marlin. Most of the inshore fishing is being done out of skiffs and kayaks. The regular long-range fleet has been targeting the banks off Cabo San Lucas, and Excel has reported yellowfin tuna to 230 pounds this week. Royal Star is still in the waters off Clipperton, and that region and has been reporting a great volume of tuna to 165 pounds over the last couple of days.
