The rain and unsettled weather stimulated the lobster crawl, and the action on the local boats was excellent — from the middle of last week through early this week. Just a few scores as examples: Pride, out of Seaforth Sportfishing, was out Dec. 1 with 10 anglers who had 30 lobster and three rock crabs. The same boat Dec. 2 had nine anglers, who got 27 lobsters. Condor, out of Fisherman’s Landing, was out Nov. 30 with six anglers who had 42 lobsters, full limits and seven rock crabs. Dec. 1, seven anglers had 23 lobsters and one rock crab. Jig Strike out of H&M Landing on Dec. 3, with four anglers, had 23 lobsters and 21 rock crabs. Up in Long Beach, Gail Force out of Pierpoint Landing was out with seven anglers, who had 14 lobsters to 8 pounds Nov. 29.
