There continues to an excellent volume of yellowtail along a solid 75 miles of coastline and at all the offshore islands. Los Coronados islands continue to have the most productive bite on these 20- to 40-pound fish. On May 1, San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing reported the anglers on board had landed just three yellowtail. There is also a very good signal on yellowtail coming from San Clemente. The bite was hampered by winds this past weekend, but the fish are there.
