CUCAMONGA-GUASTI: County trout are planted each Thursday through April 23. DFW trout were also planted this week and two weeks ago. Overall, the bite has been pretty good with a few limits reported each week and most anglers are getting a fish or two. Information: (909) 481-4205.

PRADO: County trout are planted each Thursday through April 23, and the most recent DFW plant went in this week and four weeks ago. The largemouth bass bite is fair with quite a few fish showing along the shoreline in shallow water for the spawn. Small boats (non-inflatable with a hard bottom) under 16 feet with electric motors are allowed. Information: (909) 597-4260.

YUCAIPA: County trout plants are on Thursday each week through April 23, and DFW fish were added this week. Information: (909) 790-3127.

GLEN HELEN: There are weekly 1,000-pound county plants on Thursdays through April 23. DFW trout went in this week and three weeks ago. Five-fish limits with trout to just over 2 pounds were posted by Ben Medina and Juan Dorame from the large lake this past week and both were using PowerBait. Information: (909) 887-7540.

MOUNT BALDY TROUT POOLS: The heavily stocked pools are open every Saturday and Sunday. No fishing license is needed. Information: (909) 982-4246.
