CUCAMONGA-GUASTI: The trout action has been fair to good, and a DFW plant went in last week. County trout plants are 780 pounds per week. Information: 909-481-4205.

PRADO: The trout action has been fair to good thanks to the weekly plants. Luis Garcia, Fontana, landed a 10-pound rainbow at Park Lot No. 1 on a small jig. There have also been quite a few carp showing at the overflow spillway. County trout plants are weekly with 780 pounds per stocking. No recent DFW trout plants. Small boats (non-inflatable with a hard bottom) under 16 feet with electric motors are allowed. Information: 909-597-4260.

YUCAIPA: No report. County trout plants are 780 pounds per week and split between two of the lakes. There is work ongoing at the middle lake, so plants will be at the upper and lower lakes for the next few plants. Last DFW plant was over a month ago. The San Bernardino County Regional Parks trout derby series makes it annual stop at Yucaipa Regional Park Trout Saturday, March 31. The event will run from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Gates open at 5 a.m. Entry fee is $20 per person plus $10 vehicle entry. Anglers 16 years and older must have CA State Fishing License.
